People, like Mother Nature herself, are diverse, complex and often contradictory
The delicate soft scented petals of a spring flower,
contrasting the sharp unforgiving needles of Arizonian cacti
A comparative gentle walk, flat lining, through the landscape of the Netherlands,
or facing the more challenging potentially treacherous ups and downs of Himalayan climbs
Time like the wind, creates the ever-changing sand dunes of Saharan heat
Simultaneously forming blinding snowdrifts in polar extremities
Harsh environments, yet adaptable elements of life exists
Like nature herself, we possess the winds of change
While some navigate life’s more dangerous routes, chancing the storms of the southern cape,
others sometimes unconsciously drift in the potential doldrums of the Equator,
calm and peaceful or stagnant and dead?
Depending on time or mood
Our experiences can be warm and embracing like a gentle summer breeze
Or as deep and cutting as the icy north wind
Her nature, diverse across the whole Planet
Our nature, encased within a single mind
Somewhere between these contrasting extremes
Somewhere lies a place of peace and calm
