Life is full of bridges
Some simple, plain and functional
Others complex and imaginative things of beauty
Helping us cross the numerous rivers and ravines of life
All manner of bridges, some to be crossed and explored
Others, better just left and passed by
Some bridges historically in place
Apparently tried and tested over time
Others, we have to build ourselves
Crossing from here to there
Bridges, sometimes temporarily blocked, with access denied
Some appearing to be permanently destroyed
Unlikely ever to be repaired
Decisions of which bridges to cross, however
Should only be made if and when we actually reach that bridge
We often give too much consideration to things, before they even appear
So, be mindful of the common bridge called what if, as it can lead to worry
